We produce feature films, documentaries, TV movies, videos and audios of positive social values with up-to-date digital technology for theatrical show, CD/DVD release, TV and Radio broadcast, commercials or training presentations. We also are diligently working to meet our clients' need with high quality production services both in the studio and on location for HD filmmaking, television broadcast, large event coverage, large video projection etc. So far, some of our productions include: "Yaadanii" - a short film written by one of our female trainees and produced in collaboration with a team of eight international film professionals from Los Angeles and Washington DC during our filmmaking workshop in November, 2013. Mucaa Kaayyoo (Child of Destiny) I - a gospel music video featuring young girls and boys at Biiftuu Boolee Evangelical Church in Addis Ababa. The video that blended gospel songs with Oromo traditional performances became instantly popular and largely sold in Ethiopia and abroad including in the diaspora churches across Europe, Canada and the United States.

Mucaa Kaayyoo (Child of Destiny) II - The second video of the Kayyoo children's gospel songs that additionally featured "Hiree Hiikaa", a short dramatic film about Onesimos Nesib, a victim of slavery in the mid-nineteenth century who became one of the religious and intellectual pioneers in the Horn of Africa. Sandscribe's next step in the production division will be building and developing state-of-the-art studios in order to meet the needs of local and international productions. The establishment of the studio complex - in addition to enhancing the quality of local productions - will attract big-budget overseas film and television producers to take advantage of the country's diverse & unique locations - as well as low production costs and favorable exchange rate.

We publish substantial magazines, journals, peer-reviewed writings on motion pictures - feature films, short films, TV movies and documentaries - that would be essential academic materials for local film schools and entertainment institutions. We cover wide array of topics, perspectives, and approaches appeals to film scholars and film fans alike. We are set to create web magazine where filmmakers and serious film lovers will find in-depth articles and reviews that examine all aspects of film history, film theory, and the impact of film, video, and television on culture, society, and the academy. Interviews with filmmakers of all kinds, from both Ethiopia and abroad, venture behind the images to demystify their art will be published on the magazine. The web magazine also contains national and international news and features on upcoming movies, industry trends, theatres, equipment, digital cinema, sound, screen advertising, and other industry-related topics. Additional publications include selected books on various aspects of filmmaking, TV production, Animation and other fiction and non-fiction books of affirmative social values. So far, we published the 3rd edition of 'Gurracha Abbaya' (the Black of Nile), Dhaba Wayessa's acclaimed Novel, in collaboration with Elellee Book Shop.

Sandscribe's department of media and art ministry is devoted to the production faith based media and arts as a means of expressing faith and engaging people of all backgrounds into exploration of biblical principles and values to encourage dialogue, introspection and a deeper understanding of their relationship to God. In other words, it is focused on the production of media and arts designed to expand people's understanding of God and themselves. Our projects are meant to reflect the good news of the light of Jesus Christ - which we believe as the light of beauty and art in a dark and sinful world.
