We, the community of Sandscribe Communications, believe that pertinent local and international institutions and media personalities develop a profession that would be mutually beneficial to all stakeholders. All components of Sandscribe have been carefully planned, coordinated and scheduled so that all Ethiopian and international stakeholders will be encouraged to create synergy and sustainable business network which enables partner companies or personalities to continuously learn from each other and support each other on training, production, exhibition and marketing projects. So far we have collaborated with a team of seven international film professionals from Los Angeles on hands-on filmmaking workshop for over 50 trainees and with Wagner College in New York City on screenwriting and film analysis that benefited over 50 students from both Ethiopia and United States. Since our organization is at its infancy and underfunded at the moment, we are currently working on multi- project proposals and utilizing diverse connections to generate funds for human, infrastructure and equipment needs. We strongly believe that the fulfillment of our noble vision requires a conscious and collaborative effort of various stakeholders. Any support or collaboration from individuals, entrepreneurs, business firms, NGOs, universities, colleges, and other institutions like you in one or all areas of our endeavor would be an enormous contribution to the full functioning of Sandscribe communications and to the development of a productive entertainment industry in Ethiopia.
